The fastest OEM/ODM projects begin with a defined chassis, measurable visual target, volume estimate, and clear ownership of content and compliance work.
Bring the mechanical context
Share controlled 3D files or drawings, panel material, mounting zones, cable paths, power budget, airflow context, protected clearance, and service requirements. Identify components that may change before launch.
Define commercial boundaries
State forecast volume, sample quantity, launch date, target region, packaging needs, warranty expectations, required audits, and any licensed-content restrictions. These inputs affect feasibility, cost, and schedule.
Plan validation before samples arrive
Agree on visual acceptance, mechanical fit, acoustics, vibration, thermal effect, electrical safety, software behavior, content recovery, packaging, and transport tests. Assign an owner and evidence format to every acceptance item.
Freeze production responsibly
Use a golden sample, controlled bill of materials, approved software and content versions, inspection criteria, traceability, and formal change notification. Pilot production should confirm the process before full scale-up.
