A rotating POV module must be treated as an integrated electromechanical component. Installation decisions should be reviewed by the chassis engineering team.
Protect the operating envelope
Maintain the specified guarded area and clearance from cables, panels, filters, fasteners, and user-accessible openings. Design the enclosure so normal use and maintenance cannot introduce loose objects into the motion zone.
Secure mounting and wiring
Mounting must control vibration and remain stable through transport and service cycles. Route cables away from the operating envelope, sharp edges, heat sources, and moving parts. Provide strain relief and clear connector access.
Measure complete-system effects
Test component temperatures, pressure behavior, acoustics, vibration, panel resonance, and dust management in the complete production-intent system. Compare results to a defined baseline under repeatable workloads.
Design for service
Allow trained personnel to inspect connectors, clean approved surfaces, replace the module, and restore cable routing without disturbing unrelated hardware. Document safe power-down and post-service checks.
